Thursday, 27th  March

Tonight's evening is a selection of stories featuring morals, twists and unhappy endings presented by our member Dewi Clarke-Thomas.

It promises to be a very enetertaining evening!

Little Plays Six

Little Plays 6!

This was a night of short plays written by members and friends of Neath Little Theatre. Seven talented writers were given a month to come up with an original short play on the theme 'Weather' and were performed live by actors of the membership. The emphasis of the project was to give the writers a platform to stage their work, beginning from a script with a stripped back style and  allowing the writing to come to the fore.

This was an excellent evening with some powerful performances of thought provoking, funny and very imaginative unique work by our talented writers.

Working Parties
Thursday, 20th and 27th  February
On occasions , in particular the week before our major productions, we ask for all hands on deck to help build the set, prepare the auditorium, work back stage and just do a general tidying up of the theatre. There is always plenty to do and we appreciate all the help we can get. If you would be interested in knowing more about the theatre or you may be thinking that you would like to become a part of our community then these evenings would be perfect for you. There are plenty of biscuits eaten with hot cups of tea or coffee and lots of great company an chat as well as the hard work! Why not come along. You would be very welcome.

Neath Through Time - a film documentary
Thursday, 6th  February

The auditorium was packed to capacity for this evening with Jordan Brinkworth.
Through meticulously researched narration, colourful recreations as to how Neath might have once looked, and on-scene discussions, the evening's documentary portrayed the history of Neath from the Ice Age to the modern day in an easily accessible and engaging way. Jordan Brinkworth has written and presented his wonderfully informative documentary - 'Neath Through Time' which was followed by a Q&A session with Jordan and his book 'Neath: Romans, Raids & Revolutions'
