The older Youth Workshop staged a successful production over two nights (including the Season's Opening Night) based on stories from 'Arabian Nights'. The show was an exercise in voice and movement and developing stage technique and experience. It very much built on the techniques introduced in the regular YW sessions on Saturday mornings. The Young People worked hard over the summer with relatively few (but long!) rehearsals. Thanks to parents, young people and theatre members who assisted and staged a very worthwhile production.

More photos are available HERE. If any youngsters are interested in joining our Youth Workshop sections (Primary or Secondary) more information can be found under the GET INVOLVED section!

The Vintage Summer Tea held at the Theatre on Saturday 15th August was a great success. Demand for tickets was high, with the event totally sold out. Attendees were treated to tea, cakes and snadwiches with light entertainment. Thanks to the many people who had a hand in the organisation but particularly Geraldine Davies, Kirsten Leary, Joan Powell and the ladies (and gentlemen!) of the Coffee Mornings.

Living Pictures presented 'Diary of a Madman' at NLT on Thursday 30th July. This was a one-man show featuring the extraordinary talent of Robert Bowman (pictured). Funny, dramatic, surprising and inventive - what more could you ask of a night at the theatre? Good luck to Robert and the team for Edinburgh Fringe. Thanks to Night Out and Ross Southard for arranging.

Saturday 25th July saw a day of comedy at Neath Little Theatre. As part of Neath's 2015 Comedy Festival, we hosted Laughing Lambs in the afternoon - stand up comedy for children. A highlight of this event was Ignacio Lopez who had the audience in stitches!

In the evening we hosted, with assistance from Night Out, Paul James and Friends - four brilliant young comedians who were very different in style but all very funny. Congratulations to all involved!
